Procedures: We play with the Crossings group, there will be a EWGA greeter to assist with establishing foursomes, but generally foursomes are made on a first come basis.  A maximum of 24 players can play each Monday, so call early to reserve your spot.

EVENTS: 

Match Play:  5/10/10; 6/21/10; 7/19/10, 8/2/2010

Once a month, we will have a match play event with prizes awarded. To sign up for this, e-mail Wanda Fisher at fishnwanda@yahoo.com by the Friday before and include your Handicap. You will be partnered up with someone who has a comparable handicap. If you are not interested in match play, please feel free to come out, but match play participants will be going off first.

Ringer Board, Birdie Tree and Par Tree.  Cost $5.00 per competition

On a weekly basis, there will be a competition that will last throughout the season. The ringer board allows you to post the best score for each hole on any given week with the top three being determined by the lowest total score. The birdie tree and par tree allows you to post and birdies and pars on a weekly basis for the entire season. The top three for both of these events will win a prize. The pro shop has the book to post your scores weekly. Sign ups for these competitions are throughout April.

Solheim Cup-  August 21, 2010

The EWGA woman will be playing thee Crossing women on the above Saturday in a Solheim Cup format, with a trophy being awarded to the winning team. There will be no additional cost besides paying for your golf. To sign up for this event, please e-mail Wanda Fisher at the above e-mail address, one week before the event. 

Social event:  November 1 at 5:30pm. Cost $15.00, event will be catered                          

 

TUESDAY NIGHT LEAGUE

Dates:  Begins March 30, 2010

Tee Times:  5pm

Cost:  $13.00/Walk  - $21.00/Cart

Procedures: Call for a tee time by noon on the day you want to play.  Identify yourself as a EWGA member.  You will need a temporary pass to get onto the base at Ft. Lee.  Download the map to the golf course here. 

  Here is the information on the access to the Ft Lee golf course.  If you do not already have access to Ft Lee, the individuals would need to fill out the vehicle pass application and email it to Tom Green.   Thomas.j.green1@us.army.mil Tom will coordinate getting a pass for you that will be good all year.
